To properly enjoy your bike ride you need exciting places and the way to get to them - The Routes.
Nevermind if you cycle with kids, on your own or with friends. Some preparation before the ride will always pay off. Have a look at the tips which should help you to prepare a cycling route.
This route takes us mostly on the London Canals towpaths. From Poplar to Limehouse and up North to Victoria Park. From there up along the River Lea to Markfield Park. On the way back we go through Walthamstow and Hackney Marches, then Olympic park home to Poplar.
Length: 27 km (17 mi)
Short in distance and time (relatively). Cycling route mostly on Thames Path or canal towpath. From Poplar down South around Canary Wharf and whole Isle of Dogs with a visit to the Mudchute Farm, back up North to Limehouse and home to Poplar.
Length: 14 km (9 mi)
Cycling route follows mostly the Thames Path. Start at Poplar than down South to the Isle of Dogs, under the River Thames to Cutty Sark and on the South bank to Surrey Dock Farm and around Rotherhithe. Through Bermondsey and over the Tower Bridge to St Kathrine's Dock & Wapping. Last stretch from Limehouse back to Poplar.

The main aim of this cycling route is to visit three out of six city farms in our reach. From Poplar to Stepney City Farm than to Spitalfields City Farm and lastly to the Hackney City Farm. In this case, after all the farms we went even further North to the Markfield Park and back through Walthamstow and Hackney marches back home to Poplar.
Length: 30 km (19 mi)
This cycling route is the longest we ever have done so far. It takes us from Poplar to Greenwich and then through New Carlton to Woolwich. After crossing the River Thames to North Woolwich, we go to Beckton and pass the Canning Town back home to Poplar.
